    DMCA

    Welcome to WorldDiscus (the “Site”). We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect the same in return. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), Title 17, United States Code, Section 512(c), copyright owners or their authorized agents may submit a takedown notice to us as outlined below.

    As an internet service provider, we are protected under the “safe harbor” provisions of the DMCA. To submit a good faith copyright infringement claim, please include the following information:

    Notice of Infringement (Claim)

    A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner (or a person authorized to act on their behalf);

    Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;

    Identification of the material to be removed, including sufficient information for us to locate it (please include the specific URL);

    Your contact information – name, physical address, email address, and phone number;

    A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;

    A statement that the information in the notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

    Please note that under 17 U.S.C. §512(f), anyone who knowingly misrepresents information in a DMCA notice may be liable for damages, including costs and attorney fees.

    Submission

    All takedown notices should be submitted through our Contact page.
    For faster processing, email is strongly recommended.

    Be aware that we may share the information you provide in your claim with the alleged infringer. By submitting a notice, you agree that your claim and identity may be disclosed as part of the process.

    Counter Notification (Restoring Removed Material)

    If your content has been removed due to a DMCA claim and you believe it was a mistake, you may file a counter notification under 17 U.S.C. §512(g)(3). Your counter notice must include:

    Your physical or electronic signature;

    A description of the removed material and its original location before removal;

    A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification;

    Your name, address, and phone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your area (or if outside the U.S., any district where we may be found).

    Send your counter notice through our Contact page. Email is highly recommended.

    Repeat Infringer Policy

    We take copyright violations seriously. In compliance with the DMCA, we track notices from copyright holders and make a good faith effort to identify repeat infringers. Users who repeatedly violate our policy will have their accounts terminated.

    Modifications

    We reserve the right to modify or update this DMCA Policy at any time and for any reason. Please check this page periodically for changes.
